About Us

The Fourways Equestrian Club was founded in 2012 by a group of enthusiastic equestrians with the intention of developing the equestrian sport and all relating disciplines.

The Club is affiliated with the SAEF and all relevant discipline specific governing bodies including SANESA The Club is hosted by The Fourways Riding Centre which has been our home base for the past 8 years.

We offer our club members the option of competing on both a graded or recreational level with competitive annual club fees. Each member also received 10% discount on show and clinic entries as well a earning loyalty points.
The Fourways Equestrian Club is a family friendly club with a vibey atmosphere and we welcome all ages and all levels to our family.

We are a SANEF (South African National Equestrian Federation) recognized equestrian club with .

We  are a multi discipline club and cater for most disciplines including show jumping, equitation, dressage, showing and eventing. With a Martin Collins clopf fibre show jumping arena, a large sand show jumping arena, a dressage arena and top class eventing course, we ensure superb shows with a vibey atmosphere.

Our gumtree forest provide habitats for a variety of birds and countless species of insects. This is partly why the horses that reside with us are relaxed and feel at home in their natural environment.

We also have an inhouse catering facility and we offer a lovely venue for all kinds of functions including but not limited to year end parties, children’s parties, corporate conference/s and private events and many other teambuilding activities.

Our theme based pony camps allow young riders to learn about horses, develop horsemanship skills, socialize in a positive environment and learn good values. Afternoon activities such as sports, tasks and stable work are all part of pony camp.

At any time we have horses for sale, from competition horses to first ponies and trail horses. With eventing and show jumping as our main focus, our collection of young stock with quality and potential, at various stages in their training are always available.
